| Vacuum Metalizing is used for a variety of different reasons. Some are utilitarian (headlight housings, taillight housings) and some are decorative (hood ornaments, interior trim). Frequently selective masking is required for these applications. Here are a few picture of masking that would be used in a utilitarian manner.
